MONTERUFOLI IN A GLANCE

Tenuta di Monterufoli estate covers an area of 1,030 hectares of hills, within an altitude between 150 and 500 msl. In this beautiful scenario, you can discover many trails and walk in unexploited nature known for its soil full of minerals. Lignite and magnesite mines are good testimonies of old chalcedony quarries, stones used to produce unique mosaics, since ancient times. A landscape of such beauty, convinced us to convert the whole estate to organic farming. Monterufoli, converted to organic farming in 2021, is located between Val di Cecina and Val di Cornia (Pisa). The estate is nestled inside a natural park surrounded by a thousand hectares of uncontaminated nature, secular trees, a myriad of thermal springs and evocative vineyards, from which our Vermentino di Toscana and the iconic red Poggio Miniera are produced.
